Establishing a timeline
Determining selection criteria
Attracting the best pool of candidates through targeted advertisement
Determining search committee membership
Screening applicants with the assistance of external experts
Coordinating semi-finalist interviews with the search committee
Arranging finalist interviews with the board
Handling school community engagement
Assisting with the final selection process
Follow-up with the new school leader and board
PCSASC handles the logistics of the search but does not make employment recommendations or hire the school leader. The school’s board maintains control of the process at every stage.
