SCDE Charter School Board Orientation

The S.C. Department of Education, Office of School Transformation, is hosting a virtual Board Orientation. South Carolina law requires that all charter schools’ governing board members attend board orientation within a year of being elected. This basic training is free and meets the state’s minimum requirements. You can familiarize yourself with the S.C. Charter Law here.
The virtual training will be held on Monday, January 29, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Please have the necessary board members and administrators complete the following registration.
