It takes care of everything from collecting applications to sending out e-ballots and certifying the results. This process ensures integrity and confidentiality in the voting process, compliance with state laws and the school’s charter, and voter engagement with access to e-ballots on smartphones, computers, tablets, or a computer at the school.

Charter schools need board members who are eager to commit their time and energy to stay abreast of the latest legislative issues that impact the school and who have previous experience serving on non-profit or governmental boards.
Per SC Charter Law, boards are elected by the families of charter school students and employees of the school. Each school has various language in its charters and bylaws that dictate the process. PCSASC can make suggestions to amend those documents as requested.
